By using the Services, you are agreeing to all of the Terms of Service, as may be updated by us from time to time. Access to this Website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Services without notice. Unauthorised use of all intellectual Property, Software and Content of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and be a criminal offence.

Terms of Sale

LA MARQUEZA HATS offers products for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch from our distribution center. Occasionally however, we may be waiting for shipments from our producers. For that reason, you may from time to time be given the possibility of making an Advance Payment for certain items in which case you are able to make an Advance Purchase. This will ensure that you receive this item in priority once designer stock has been delivered to LA MARQUEZA HATS. Alternatively, you may simply choose to register your email address for notification of arrival of the selected merchandise not held in stock.

Dispatch times may vary according to availability and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.

Items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.

When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. The cost of foreign products and services may fluctuate. All prices advertised are subject to such changes.

(a) Our Contract

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods which you ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed.

(b) Pricing and Availability

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the 'Total Cost'.

(c) Product images

Online product images may not always be exact to actual order, this is because all merchandise displayed on the LA MARQUEZA HATS Website are handmade by traditional and skilled Ecuadorian artisans, making each item one-of-a-kind. This means that the color, finish and design of the merchandise may vary slightly from one to the other, and may differ slightly from the images displayed on the Website, even if we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the Site. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be 100% accurate.


All orders are shipped by ROYAL MAIL UK on business days (Monday to Friday) excluding holidays. Deliveries will be tracked and signed, no exceptions.
Once your credit card is authorised, you will receive a confirmation email from us. (Please give production time maximum 1 week, you will be notified if your order is ready sooner) In general, all orders can take up to 2-5 business days to process within the factory in most cases. Once processed you will receive a confirmation email.
LA MARQUEZA HATS is not responsible for delays in shipping or delivery due to force of nature or other uncontrollable events.

Dispatch Time: 3-4 business days

Delivery Times (estimates):

  • Shipping inside UK: Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed and Tracked, may take between 1 to 3 business days,  price: £15.00
  • Shipping to EU: Royal Mail International Signed, may take between 7 - 15 business days, price: £20.00
  • Shipping to the rest of the world: Royal Mail International Signed, may take between 7 -20 business days, price vary between: £25.00 and £30.00

Returns and exchange policy

At LA MARQUEZA HATS all sales are final. We don’t accept returns unless the item is damaged during transit or faulty, in which case we would replace it for a different piece of the same style. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

In determinate cases LA MARQUEZA HATS will emit a voucher to the customer for the return amount that will expire in one calendar year.

Returns must be returned within 14 days from delivery date. All merchandise returned must be unworn with the original packaging intact. All shipping costs are incurred at the expense of the customer.

We do not refund original or return shipping costs. Shipping costs will only be refunded when the return is a result of our error or damaged merchandise.

We strive to keep all our customers happy. If you need to exchange the size of your hat for another one, we are very happy to offer the replacement within the 14 day limit of purchase, as long as the item is in perfect condition. 

The goods must be returned in 'as new' condition and in their original packaging with the tags still on. Returns and exchanges can only be processed with provided you have proof of purchase - no questions asked.

Customer is responsible for return and new shipping charges.

LA MARQUEZA HATS have the right to deny credits if the item returned does not meet our return policy requirements. We are unable to refund any import tax/duty that your order may have incurred for returned items.

To place a return or exchange please email shop@lamarquezahats.com first by:

1. Notice of your intention to return or exchange the order; wrong size, faulty, etc.

2. Your order number details of your claim

Please note you can only exchange items for a different size, based on stock availability. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative product, we suggest that you return it for a store credit and purchase the new item separately.

Please note that returns will be store credit only.
